In Wyoming, workers’ compensation is mandatory ONLY for those employers who fall under a NAIC code that is considered ‘extra-hazardous’ per WS 27-14-108. All other employers who do not fall into one of the below NAIC codes may waive coverage in the Wyoming workers’ compensation system.
